Still Waters Farm will be holding a schooling horse show at the end of April. We haven’t had one in a while so this is very exciting for us. This schooling show is only for current riders at our barn, no outside barns will be invited. There will be classes for all ages and experience levels. Most people will ride lesson horses/ponies but some will ride their own. For more information talk to Kathy or any of the helpers the next time you’re at the barn.
We have also posted dates for the summer kids camp and trainers camp. Kids camp is for kids of all ages and experience levels and it is always a lot of fun. You are welcome to join us even if you don’t normally ride with us (but please check with Kathy for details). You can call Kathy to reserve a spot or sign up on the sheet upstairs. As always there will be both day and overnight options. Trainers camp is for advanced riders at Still Waters Farm. Trainers camp can also be fun but is definitely more about hard work both in and out of the saddle.
We will likely attend some away horse shows this summer. You need to own or lease your own horse/pony for these. Please talk to Kathy if this is something you are interested in.
I know it’s snowing now but soon it will warm up and we’ll head back outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. Make plans now to join us at camp!
