Various horse back riding camps are held throughout the year.
Please see the Events page for dates for this years camps.
Summer Kids Camp
Summer horse back riding camp for kids runs Monday thru Friday. On Friday afternoon there is a horse show or performance that the parents are encouraged to attend. There are usually 2 options for summer camp: day camp runs 9am-4pm (usually for the younger kids) and long day camp runs 9am-8pm (for kids who can’t stand to leave so early). Kids can come all week or just select days.
During summer camp children will learn many things about horses, the barn, the tack and themselves. Campers will ride at least once per day, usually two or three times. There are also non-riding activities like jumping on foot, kick ball, learning to braid a mane, etc. There is usually a small pool for supervised swimming on hot days and one afternoon we travel off site to a large pool, weather permitting.
Trainers Camp
Trainers camp is for the more experienced/advanced riders. Trainers camp is by invitation only. This camp runs Monday thru Friday. Riders can attend only certain days but the whole week is recommended. At this camp the riders are focused on taking their riding to the next level. They are also learning how to run a barn, more advanced care of the horses, advanced training techniques and more.
Adult Camp/Clinic
Adult camp is for the adults. It is generally only 1 day from 9am-4pm. These are scheduled periodically throughout the year as schedules permit.
